We’re Alex James and Meghan Hamilton—real-life best friends, long-time colleagues, and now proud business partners. As professional hair and makeup artists with over 30 years of combined experience in the beauty industry, we’ve worked with people from all walks of life. Through that journey, one thing became clear: the traditional beauty and fashion systems are outdated, exclusive, and often don’t reflect the real people they claim to serve.

We knew there had to be a better way. A more compassionate, more inclusive, and more empowering approach to beauty—and so Your Body Your Values (YBYV) was born.

Nearly a decade in the making, YBYV is more than just an apparel brand—it’s a movement rooted in authenticity, self-expression, and radical body acceptance. Our mission is to create a safe, supportive, and gender-inclusive space where everyone feels seen, celebrated, and confident in their own skin. We offer extended sizing and thoughtfully designed pieces that honor all body types and identities, because fashion should never be about shrinking to fit in—it should be about expanding to welcome everyone in.
